New York-based executive John Dejesu joins global firm as Business Development Director

NEW YORK (June 24, 2015)—Corporate Research and Investigations (CRI) Group announced today that John Dejesu has joined the global investigative and due diligence firm in its New York office as Business Development Director, North America.  

Dejesu brings a history of high-profile executive experience for companies including Ethisphere Institute, American Express, Nielsen, Conde Nast and The New York Times. He specializes in business development, sales and marketing with a focus on research, corporate sponsorship and multi-channel media sales.

With operations based at CRI Group’s 445 Park Avenue offices in New York, Dejesu provides a face for the firm’s expanding presence in North America. CRI Group currently has offices in eight continents and is a global supplier of risk management, forensic accounting, due diligence and background screening services.

Company CEO Zafar I. Anjum, CFE, said that Dejesu brings “a vision built on success” to help CRI Group serve clients effectively across North America and beyond.

Prior to joining Ethisphere, Dejesu founded and presided over the media and marketing firm Voyager Group, generating and successfully developing industry-specific, custom content in the form of “Tone From the Top,” Special Reports for Time Inc. (Fortune, Money and CNN Money.com).

While at American Express Custom Media Group, Mr. Dejesu was responsible for business development for the content strategy marketing division of American Express Publishing, generating and selling custom marketing communication programs for financial, travel, luxury, real estate and beauty segments, successfully deploying all communication channels: digital, direct mail, print and experiential/event marketing. Prior to that, he served as publisher at the Nielsen Company, International Travel Advertising Director at The New Yorker magazine and travel advertising brand manager for The New York Times.
