Three Charged With $4 Million Food-Stamp Fraud Run From Cleveland Business


A grand jury on Wednesday indicted three brothers on charges of running a $4 million food-stamp scam through a business on Cleveland's West Side.

Mohammad H. Mohammad, 52, Omar Mohammad, 49, both of Parma, and Rashid Mohammad, 53, of Strongsville, each face a conspiracy charge and charges for food stamp fraud and unlawful redemption of food stamps.

Mohammad Mohammad also faces three additional counts of engaging in financial transactions with proceeds from specified unlawful activity.
