Recent Daily Telegraph reports has found that English football is manipulated by a deeply embedded network of corruption. Already the investigation has yielded casualties and more revelations are planned.

Sam Allardyce, manager of the England football team, resigned yesterday after undercover reporters filmed him brokering a deal with a fictitious Asian company that would have netted him £400,000 ($520,000). These earnings would have complemented his £3 million ($3.9 million) yearly salary.
